About Dr. Samaha
Mark Samaha, M.D. is a facial plastic surgeon
who is dedicated to quality care in every facet of his practice.
Trained in the most advanced techniques available, his priority
is to ensure his patients' vision for esthetic improvement
becomes a reality. His approach emphasizes achieving a natural
look by balancing facial proportions to create esthetic harmony.
After
completing his undergraduate studies at McGill University,
Dr. Samaha earned his medical degree with Honors from Queen's
University. He then returned home to Montreal to undertake
residency training at McGill University, which focused exclusively
on surgery of the face, head and neck regions. Upon completion
of specialty training, Dr. Samaha was accepted to a prestigious
fellowship at Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts Eye and
Ear Infirmary. This extra-specialized training focused exclusively
on Nasal and Facial Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Samaha has been practicing the art of facial
plastic surgery for several years. He regularly travels across
the United States and Europe to meet and spend time with world-renowned
surgeons, to share knowledge and techniques, and constantly
remain at the very cutting edge of the science and art of
facial plastic surgery. Dr. Samaha has written articles on
facial plastic surgery and regularly presents his work and
gives lectures and seminars locally and internationally.
In
addition to his extensive expertise, Dr. Samaha is a member
of the American
Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery,
and the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck
Surgery. He is board certified in both Canada (The Royal College
of Surgeons of Canada) and the United States (The American
Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery).
As an active member of the Faculty of McGill
University, Dr. Samaha regularly teaches medical students,
residents, and other physicians.
