The eyes are one of the most expressive and attractive parts of the face—and also one of the first to show signs of aging. Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, to refresh the eyelids is a popular procedure at our Montreal practice. We always enjoy helping men and women look more rested, alert, and youthful.

If you’re curious about eyelid surgery, this post is for you. We will walk you through the process and outline the journey our eyelid surgery patients take at Montreal Centre for Facial Plastic Surgery.

Initial Phone Call

Prospective patients usually reach out via phone call or by requesting a consultation online. During this first conversation, our staff provides general pre-op information about anesthesia, recovery, and other surgical precautions.

After discussing your interests and desired results, we’ll help you schedule a personal consultation with Dr. Samaha. While waiting for your one-on-one time, feel free to browse our before-and-after gallery or read our blog for more background information.

Arriving at Our Office

At our Montreal centre, the focus is all on you. Our practice was built to ensure all guests feel calm, welcomed, and safe. We know surgery can be a potentially stressful experience. To alleviate this, our state-of-the-art facility is complemented with elegant décor in soft creams and warm browns.

As you arrive, a staff member will check you in before your personal meeting with Dr. Samaha. They will take down some personal information and ease any anxieties you might have.

In-Depth Discussion

During your one-on-one consultation, Dr. Samaha will start with a quick evaluation of your personal medical history. We want to be sure that surgery is a safe option for you. In the case of blepharoplasty, these questions usually involve concerns such as glaucoma or other common eye conditions. After the evaluation, Dr. Samaha will ask about your concerns and goals to determine an individual treatment plan.

This treatment plan will include deciding on upper eyelid surgery, lower eyelid surgery, or both. It could also involve other complementary treatments such as a brow lift or injectables. With the help of a mirror, Dr. Samaha will demonstrate how the procedure will open up your eyes and give a natural, rejuvenated appearance.

During this time, always feel free to ask about pricing, techniques, or anything else you might be curious about.

We’re Committed to You

By being open and candid, we can make sure all your needs are met and you feel as comfortable and confident as possible regarding your blepharoplasty. Dr. Samaha is committed to always putting his patients’ wishes first.

Our office wants to provide a positive, comforting experience throughout the surgery and consultation process. If you would like to start your own journey with us, please contact us online or call at (514) 613-3004.
